This summer, I was honored to be selected as a 2026 Coolidge Senator by the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation. Each year, the Foundation chooses 100 students from more than 4,000 applicants to the Coolidge Scholarship. The selection recognizes academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to public service.

As a Senator, I traveled to Plymouth Notch, Vermont, President Coolidge’s hometown, to join the other Senators at the Coolidge Senators Summit.
The best part was meeting fellow Senators from across the country. Each of them had a different story, but all of them were committed to serving their communities in their own way. Our conversations ranged from history and policy to science and music. I left with new friends and a lot to think about.
I’m grateful to the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation for this recognition, and to my family, teachers, and mentors at Groton for their support.
